I come from a small town in India where access to education for women is limited. Without early mentors, I found guidance only in college. It was an experience that shaped my journey and inspired my commitment to mentorship.

I am part of the leadership team of the Supernova Foundation, serving as the Outreach and Mentoring Coordinator. The Supernova Foundation is a global mentoring program dedicated to empowering young women and gender minorities pursuing careers in Physics. As of October 2025, it supports 400+ members across 50+ countries.

I also mentor students through the Polaris Mentorship Program, supporting and broadening the participation of undergraduate students in Physics and Astronomy through academic and professional guidance.

Through these roles, I aim to support various scientific communities by ensuring that aspiring astrophysicists receive the mentorship and support I once lacked.

My outreach activities span public astronomy, science communication, and mentorship. I served as a panelist for the live telecast of the Roman Space Telescope mission at The Ohio State University, an event attended by more than 100 members of the university community, and completed the Applied Science Communication course in Fall 2026. I have also given a public talk on Cosmic Fireworks at the Upper Arlington Public Library, reaching more than 30 attendees, and participated as a panelist in a Science Identity discussion organized by the Polaris Mentorship Program, with more than 80 attendees. In 2024, I hosted an exoplanet exhibition booth at the COSI Science Festival, which attracted more than 10,000 attendees, and participated in several solar-eclipse outreach events, including an eclipse discussion and solar telescope demonstration at the OSU Marion Campus and a planetarium show at the FOSAA Solar Eclipse Event. I have also contributed to the OSU Astronomy Summer Program by introducing students to NASA ADS and arXiv, reaching more than 30 attendees annually from 2023–2026, and have given Career Pathways in Science lectures as part of the Undergraduate Astronomy Seminar Series in Fall 2023 and 2024.
